We woke up tired. We’d had two big days. But, we got up and out very quickly. We were on the road by 7:30am. It started raining right as we were setting off.

Another beautiful day of biking, but we were a bit too wet and tired to notice. We arrived at Fox Glacier before noon. Not bad going, but we were tired and Elise’s shin was really hurting.

I biked up the Fox Glacier trail, which was pretty intense for being a level 2 route…lots of climbing. Unfortunately, there was no view of the glacier, due to a landslide in 2015, but I enjoyed the climb.

When we arrived in Fox Glacier, we decided to have a rest day tomorrow, and booked a cabin so we could dry off. We knew there was a rain watch as well, so we wanted to be careful.
