Our first day of bike packing! We biked from Invercargill to Bluff, then took the ferry to Stewart Island. The bike ride to Bluff was primarily bike lanes and quite pretty. The ferry was a fun hour, but they scratched up the bikes a bit, chipping the front fork. We spent the afternoon walking around. We found a nearby high-point, from which we could see the island…it is massive.

Campground was nice, looking forward to seeing Ulva Island!
