We decided to take it easy and rest a bit. So we went on a long walk around the city. Invercargill has very wide streets, reminiscent of LA, and low density.

Elise found a beautiful, large park that we really enjoyed walking through. There were two rose gardens and so many tall trees.

We then walked past the water tower which was designed to blend in with the city scape. Now it’s considered earthquake prone and unused.

We found another super market and called it a day.
